What size is the blanket?

60" × 43" — a generous throw for a sofa, a picnic, or the end of a bed. It won't cover a queen bed.

Why does my blanket have a seam down the middle?

Each blanket is woven in two panels on a backstrap loom, then stitched together by hand with a bordered finish. The seam is part of the traditional process, not a flaw — and it means no two blankets are quite the same.

Can I wash them?

Blankets are machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle, or you can hand wash. Avoid bleach and strong detergents, which dull the dyes. Care instructions are also on each product page.

Who makes these, and how are they paid?

Artisans in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh who we know personally. Every piece is handmade in limited quantities. More on our story page.

Is a sold-out colour coming back?

Sometimes — check back on the product page, or contact us and we'll let you know if a restock is planned.
